Business case

For a Swiss medical concern, we have prepared a project focusing on minimizing the amount of active substance used for drug production and maximizing its usability. We employed a set of fast, computationally efficient algorithms and linear programming methods to achieve our goals.

Solution

  • A set of fast, computationally efficient algorithms (greedy, metaheuristics, i.e. GRASP, ILS, etc.)
  • Linear programming methods (MILP)

Outcomes

  • Fully automated process
  • Reduced cost associated with the usage of active substance (less usage, but more efficient)
